WELCOME TO SAINT PAUL!
I spent 10 years working at The Saint Paul Hotel, which was and still is a living monument. Built in 1910, it was already 2 years old when Titanic sank. My favorite thing to share with new employees was the immense history of the building and the city.
When you smell Saint Paul, it’s as if you are transported to the grand ballroom where dignitaries and celebrities mingled in upper class privacy. Tobacco and bay leaf with the lightest touch of vanilla, Saint Paul’s aroma is how I imagine the atmosphere of the gentlemen’s cigar lounge where the elite enjoyed fellowship after dinner.
